Chapter One
The Arrival
Indeed time is what shaped this ancient place. For generations a family of legendary time explorers and watchmakers lived here among the villagers. Working on their craft, perfecting it, they created the finest watches of them all. They turned the simple display of time into a true art form. And the little mountain village became the cradle of the ultimate time pieces.
But times changed, and so did the world of watchmaking. With the rise of cheap modern watches the village and its engineering art became obsolete and forgotten. The once so busy workshops fell abandoned, it seemed the old watchmaking family had vanished. The inhabitants left the village, but no one really knew what happened.
